Overcapacity Transfers
- Please be informed of the possibility that your student may be transferred to another school within Cook County School District 130 due to maximum student enrollment in certain grade levels at your neighborhood school. The criterion for enrollment of students to another school is based on the date and time the student fully completed all steps of student registration. If it becomes necessary to transfer a student, the last enrolled student will be the first student moved to another school within Cook County School District 130.
-
- After you have registered your student online, Cook County School District 130 will require you to provide documentation for residency verification and to complete the Household Income Form. Within 5 business days after you submit your student’s online student registration, the Registrar’s office will reach out to you by phone and/or email to complete Step 3.
- Parents MUST make a new student appointment to verify residency and complete the Household Income Form. Appointments will take place at the Cook County School District 130 district office located at 12300 Greenwood Ave. in Blue Island, IL.
-
Every new student’s enrollment documentation and health documentation must be submitted directly to each child’s school.
Parents/Guardians must go, in-peron, to each new student’s assigned school to deliver the student’s enrollment documents on the following dates to meet the deadline for the first day of school:
- By appointment between June 1, 2026 to June 4, 2026
