5/1/25 Message Regarding Federal School-Based Mental Health Grant

Cook County School District 130 was honored to be one of the proud recipients of a $10.5 million U.S. Department of Education School-Based Mental Health Grant. This funding has allowed the district to expand mental health services and provide additional support for students throughout the 2024-2025 school year. The district is truly grateful for the positive impact it has had on our school communities. On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, the district received official notice that this grant will conclude at the end of the current budget period.

5/9/25 Important Update Regarding PowerSchool Data Security

We are writing to inform you of a recent development related to the cybersecurity incident PowerSchool experienced in December 2024. PowerSchool is aware that a threat actor has reached out to multiple school district customers in an attempt to extort them using data from the previously reported December 2024 incident. PowerSchool does not believe this is a new incident.
